The Blakk Co. idea was conceived after the worldwide outcry of “George Floyd” May 2020, later founded in August 2020 in response to the systemic violence and lack of social spaces to discuss challenging difficult times and conversations
Starting off as a Men’s-Only Club, later evolving to become a Co-Ed Social Club for Men and Women of Color in 2022, serving Youth of Color that same year to establish a sense of trust, upliftment, and healing within our community
In 2024, it is the mission of The Blakk Co. is to bring forth the history and importance of inclusive social spaces for Communities of Color through the awareness and preservation of The Black Social Clubs
